2nd Ed. Samurai

Mar 19, 2007 17:01:47 Anyone know where I can find abetter version of the samurai for 2nd ed.

The omne in the complete fighters handbook is week compared, the the one in 1st ed. OA. Rather than having to rewrite the class or 2nd, not sure what to do.

Mar 19, 2007 17:23:17 Just use the one in OA as is. 1e and 2e are close enough for conversion to be mostly unecissary.

Mar 20, 2007 2:58:29 I use the 1ed Samurai from OA in my 2ed campaign, without having to change anythink. It works perfectly. As all OA character classes!
Only, I don't allow them to chooe a kit for their chatacter: class and kit all together in 1ed classes.

The 1e Samurai is definitely stronger than the 2e one, even considering that the 2e Samurai rises in level quicker.

The 2e Samurai can get the bravery and frighten skills that are similar to 1e Samurai abilities only at level 10+ (DM's Options: High-Level Campaigns).
