Ok I know it's probably already been said before but can someone tell me how to convert the monsters in the 3.5 ed to 2ed? I'm not sure how it all goes but I was looking through the 3.5ed monster manual and there are some monsters that i would like to incorporate in my 2ed game. thanks in advance.

Grab the document for converting 2e to 3.5e, and work backwards.

You can do what I did and have a plain template of 2e creature stats (and the formulas required to come up with those numbers) and take most of the 3e/3.5 creature stats and work them as best you can into 2e stat blocks. Some things might not crossover too well, such as saves, but all you need is a copy of the 2e saving throw tables to be able to gauge what their 2e saves should be based off of the 3e stats it has and by looking at those 2e charts.

I've created a compilation template of categories from both 2e and 3e which I use to convert 3.x creatures back to 2e, while still using certain fields from both editions to give me what I feel is the best possible combinations of fields for my game. Feel free to use it or alter it to your own specific preferences.

....And that is found where?...Sorry but I don't deal much with 3.5 and as far as D&D on the web goes I don't go much past the OOP D&D forum...sorry....just need a little more help than that...

It's mostly a case-by-case basis.

Is there any particular monster you need converted? Perhaps we can help.

I second Incenjucar's thoughts. Each 3e creature will present its own problems and what not so you might be better off getting specific help (from us or other sources) if that's possible.

So, what can we help ya with? :D
