I write a lot in my spare time and these books help me with details that are hard to comeby, such as the weight of a certain sword, or the abilities of certain monsters. Among my collection is a book that might be a bit rare. Its a 4th edition Monster Manual, printed in August 1979. Can anyone tell me if this book is common amongst peoples collections or if I have a rare copy of a old book. |

Hundreds of thousands of these books were printed and sold throughout the early to mid-eighties. An excellent condition AD&D 1e Monster Manual usually sells for between $4-8 on eBay or Amazon.com. If you had a 1st printing it would be worth considerably more. The Acaeum has more details if you're interested. |
