I've looked through the DMG, but I can't seem to find any prices for magical items. Is there a rule or something I missed?

In 2ed, magic items didn't have prices. Anything magical was considered extremely rare, and therefore was worth as much as you could sell it for (like any collector's item).

You could use the DMG first ed or the encyclopedia magica series to get some prices. ;)

...Or sell 'em for 10 x their XP value, or more!

if you were using 2ed FR you might want to check out Aurora's guide for some items as a comparison.

...sell 'em a heavily cursed sword for a king's ransom in gold, and i'm sure they won't trust anything they didn't cut out of a beastie's belly for a good long time.
