#1 dontheox Apr 20, 2006 7:18:17	Hello All, Can you guys/girls give me any recomendations on a good AD&D box set? I will list the ones I already have and the ones I am thinking of getting. The ones I have and already used: Dragon Mountain, The Night Below, Spellbound, Undermountain 1 & 2, Ruins of Myth Drannor, Ravenloft(currently running but about to end), Tale of the Comet, Kara Tur. Just about every 1st ed module, and Tegal Manor(Judges Guild) Ones I have been thinking of getting: Nethril and all the exspansions, Return to the Tomb of Horrors, The Horde. If you could give some suggestions on the ones I listed or add to the list I would be most grateful! Thanks in advance!

You could download some modules from the classics download page (including, IIRC, the Horde and something about Netheril). http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/dnd/downloads You could also get the Arabian Adventures and the Land of Fate box, since they're set south of Faerun (see also Caravans and Corsairs of the Great Sea in the downloads). The other campaign settings are also very good (IMO, better than FR, but that's just me). See especially Birthright for a prime material, tolkienesque world, or Dark Sun or Planescape for less traditional routes.
#3 zombiegleemax Apr 20, 2006 19:39:37	Return to the Tomb of Horrors is pretty good. I would also suggest the Rod of Nine Parts. If your players like powerful spells and weapons, try anything dealing with Myth Drannor.
