AD&D Core Rules and Expansion questions

OK, for fun I decided to reinstall the AD&D core rules with the expansion

The Core Rules ran fine - the expansion doesn't run at all
I still had the old patches on my machine, so I thought "No Problem"
I was wrong - Whenever I try to run the patches I get a cannot find file or one of its components error.

The questions I have are
1) Does anyone have this running on a windows XP machine?
2) Does anyone have patches for this program or a link to them so I can see if my copies are corrupt?

Thanks

1) Does anyone have this running on a windows XP machine?

Yes. I run XP Home edition, with service pack 2.

CR2, with the expansion, both patches and the necromancers handbook patch runs fine.

2) Does anyone have patches for this program or a link to them so I can see if my copies are corrupt?

Patch version 3.2:
http://www.fantaseum.com/files/dl.asp?path=/cr2/cr2x_320pr_991123.exe&id=318

Patch version 3.3:
http://www.fantaseum.com/files/dl.asp?path=/cr2/cr2x_330pr_000512.exe&id=671

For the record, I installed patch 3.2 and then patch 3.3, not sure if it matters.

Complete Book of Necromancers patch:
http://www.wizards.com/electronic/patches/setup_nec.exe

I Installed this after the two main patches, again, no idea if it matters.

Campaign Mapper Patch version 6.036:
http://www.profantasy.com/library/files/tech/cm6036up.zip

Only thing I can think of that might help is to try installing CR2, then run it, then install CR2E, then run it, then install patch 3.2, then run it, then patch 3.3, then run it, then necro patch, then run it, then run campaign mapper from outside CR2 (browse to c:\CM or wherever you installed it), then install the CM patch, then run it.

I suggest that, because if you run the CM patch without having run CM at some point, you get a "cannot find working installation" error when running the patch. The patches may look for registry entries that are not created until you have successfully run the programs.

One last suggestion, then I'm stumped:
Try installing the "recommended" version (80mb disk space) of both CR2 and CR2E, and install them both to the default folders. Not sure if it will help, but it cant hurt.

If you get it working, I suggest browsing the other files on Fantaseum.

http://www.fantaseum.com/downloads/browse.asp

The quality of the files (.xpx files users have exported and uploaded) varies (in terms of the material contained, not the file integrity), but it's the biggest collection out there. Too bad it's no longer maintained or updated.

Yeah, I'd try the Digital D&D forum here:
Digital D&D

or the Code Monkey Software forum:
Code Monkey Forum

I don't play 3rd edition, and don't have ETools, so I can't help with fixing it.

The links to fantaesium all seem to be broken. Is there any other reliable source for the patches?
