#1 kevtar Feb 08, 2005 20:42:07	Hi all, Does anyone remember in the 1st edition player's handbook how each class had a a specific name for each level? For instance, magic users would be called a "prestidigitator" at a certain level, and then a "thaumaturgist" at another, etc... I loved that. It added a lot of flavor to the game. Well, I wanted to incorporate something like that in my campaign was wondering if anyone who has access to the 1st edition player's handbook wouldn't mind replying to this post with the various level "titles" for the classes? I know that's a big favor to ask, but I also know that the D&D community is a great resource for stuff like this because everyone is so willing to share what they know. Thanks a TON in advance!

Level 6-9: Canon, Lama, Patriarch, High Priest Druid Level 1-14: Aspirant, Ovate, Initiate of the 1st-9th Circle, Druid, Archdruid, Great Druid, Level 23: Hierophant of the Cabal Fighter Level 1-10: Veteran, Warrior, Swordsman, Hero, Swashbuckler, Myrmidon, Champion, Superhero, Lord Paladin Level 1-9: Gallant, Keeper, Protector, Defender, Warder, Guardian, Chevalier, Justiciar, Paladin These are the ones I could find...
#4 kevtar Feb 09, 2005 9:33:59	Thanks for the reply. That is a lot of help. Believe it or not, there was a 1st edition fan site on the Internet that had the rest. (Monk & rogue) I found the rest on the internet. However, do you recall if there were level titles for the Barbarians?

Kevtar, would it be possible for you to post the other titles that you found, or email them to me? I think having a title adds to roleplaying, especially when introducing yourself. Down with numbers.
