Anyway, what's up with "The Magic Encyclopedia"-- I mean which edition is it part of, for sure? Quite a few (a majority, actually) of the collector's checklists I find list these two books as being ad&d first edition, though the copies I own clearly have 2nd edition on the covers. A second printing maybe? Error?

May 04, 2004 20:02:17 Are you referring to the Encyclopidia Magica? That's 2e. There was another item like that, can't recall the name of it now. It was two thin module like "books" that had the listing of almost every magic item to that point and where to find it.

I just bought both volumes and the magic encyclopedia are second edition, not first.
