I was wondering if someone could help me by double checking a list from my Database to ensure that all the spells from the WSC series are in it (and no additional spells).

If you can help, please reply w/contact info, I will email the list. I will make the Access Database available to anyone who helps once the list is double checked by a few people.

I have all of the WSCs. Do you realize how many spells you are trying to crossreference???

2164 Wizard Spells in my list currently, and yes, I own all the WSC books.

Double checking a list of 2164 spell names (and only the names) in return for getting a DB with all the spells in it seems like a minor thing. (and yes, the DB has *full* descriptions of every spell, to include rarity notes, schools and random NPC spellbook generation!....but just getting the list from me won't get you a full DB, you have to send at least one correction, and I know of at least two that have to be made already.)

Aye, you're #2 -- hoping for 3 (or more) just to make sure...a list that long easy for something to slip thru the cracks. :D

If we have 3 or more people on this, let's share the load and divide up the alphabet amongst us. I'm doing the A's now, and I'll go to the H's. How about you take I-P, Tedra? Once we get those done, we can split up the rest if no one else has come on board to help. What say you? :D

(note that I can only work on these while I'm home, so....)

Heya...Varl...I'm ashamed to admit this, but I have already gone through the whole thing once. *rubs at the big "L" on her forehead* I just contacted Dielzen a little while ago, but I do intend to trudge through it a second time after my eyes stop crossing. As for your idea, I'll be more than happy to have a go at I-P with a more fine toothed comb. Especially since one of the things Dielzen is looking for is typo's. That's a lot to check with the more interesting spell names that abound.

Good list tho Tedra...can't wait to get this (finally) finished...was somthing I started like 5 years ago when the 2nd book came out.

You realize this will make me go back through and look until I find it, right?

Tell ya what. Since you finished that faster than I could ever dream of, I can do the typo check very quickly if you want. I'll trust your judgment on the first pass. ;)

BTW, proper names (Alustriel) and combined words (the "Airboat" spell) don't count as typos imo.

Dielzen,

Okay, okay, so you were right in your reply to my corrections, that said Emirikol's Question was not listed in the WSC. Yes, I had to pull out the 4th book, I just couldn't stand it...very last page on errata for Volumes 1-3, there it was... 'Emirikol's Question was omitted, it appears here.'

I also think I found the only spell printed prior to the WSC cutoff that wasn't in the list, Blacklance, from one of the Marco Volo adventure modules (Departure, if I recall correctly). I pointed this out to them almost as soon as V1 hit the stores -- dunno if they appended it in later printings.
