Brooch of Access?

One of my 2nd ed. characters has an item named the "Brooch of Access" (101 charges), but I don't remember what it does or where it was found. It may have come from the newer boxed set of the Tomb of Horrors. I looked in the Magic Encyclopeidas with no luck.
Any info on what it does or where it is from would be great.

Jul 20, 2006 16:30:28 		The item is found in the Return to the Tomb of Horrors boxed set. It functions "much like a continuously active knock spell centered on the wearer." It also works on "portcullises and similar impediments" which are not affected by a normal knock spell. it functions at 12th level of ability, the first 101 times without fail, afterwards with a 1% cumulative chance that the brooch will "burn out".
