Has anyone done a write up on just the various classes presented in the Gazetteers for public consumption?

May 05, 2004 15:23:08 Are you looking for a list, write-ups, conversions? The GAZ's themselves can be purchased at SVGames.com and RPGnow.com for under $5 each. Also check out the Mystara web-page http://www.dnd.starflung.com/

Off the top of my head:
Gaz 2: Dervish
Gaz 3: Specialist Wizards - Illusionist, Elementalist, Necromancer, and others (not really seperate classes, but more of a proto-kit or prestige class...)
Gaz 5: Dwarven Cleric
Gaz 6: Elvish Wizard
Gaz 8: Halfling Master
Gaz 9: Merchant Prince (not a stand alone, has to be coupled with another class - e.g. fighter/merchant prince)
Gaz 10: Orc, Goblin, Kobold, Hobgoblin, Ogre, Gnoll, Bugbear, Troll, and the shamen and witchdoctors for each
Gaz 11: Traders (like the Merchant Prince, not a stand alone class)
Gaz 12: Shaman
Gaz 13: Shadow Elf
Gaz 14: Shamani (different from the Gaz 12 Shaman)
Dawn of Empires box set: Rake and Forester
PC1: various woodland creatures - pixies, sprites, etc.
PC2: inhabitants of a great flying ship - gnomes, nagpas, sphinxes
PC3: underwater creatures - mermen, triton, etc.
PC4: Lycanthropes
HW box sets, accessory, and adventures - various rules for ancient (Aztec, Roman, Egyptian, etc.) styled characters
Champions of Mystara box set - characters from Graakhalia, Sind, and Yavdlom
Voyage of the Princess Ark and Known World Grimoire articles in Dragon (c. 1990 to 1994) - various additional classes and races such as bards and half-elves

There was so much, I'm sure I forgot something...

May 05, 2004 15:25:25 Oh yeah, the Hollow World box set also had some variant elf classes, along with different dwarves and orcs, as well as neanderthals, lizard men, and beast-men.

I'm looking for the write-ups of the classes in plain ol' Basic D&D format.

But, failing getting the classes this way, the .pdfs of the Gazetteers would be next way to get them. But one question I have about that is what is the quality of the scans one would get from svgames or rpgnow?
