| #1emeriliathOct 17, 2006 14:15:53 | I am trying to find the origins of a magic item called the Deathlance. It was a first or second edition magic item, probably from a module. Does anyone know where it first appeared? Thanks! |

| #4bastrakOct 18, 2006 15:36:43 | G3 was The Hall of the Fire Giant King. I couldn't find any reference in it to the Death Lance, although I might have missed it. I think the first appearance was D1. |
| #5realmasterOct 19, 2006 1:08:42 | doesn't the Encyclopedia Magica's have the reference of the items origin with every entry? |
| #6ElendurOct 19, 2006 12:03:17 | Yes, it's in D1, wielded by a drow riding a nightmare. We just ran through that a few weeks ago. I haven't decided if counts as drow equipment or not. It's described as made of black metal so maybe it is. |
| #7realmasterOct 19, 2006 14:05:21 | In the Encyclopedia Magica vol.2 it says it came from the Descent Into the Depths of the Earth (1978) like Elendur said but there is no mention of it being a drow weapon. |
