Hello all . . . I don't have the AD&D 2nd ed Core Rules CD and I downloaded a file I needed from the site, Planet AD&D, which requires the Core Rules CD to unzip !!

The link is: http://www.planetadnd.com/downloads/cr2/classkit.php

and the file is: dd-duerra.zip located on the list of downloads.

Can anyone download this file and unzip w/the Core Rules Cd and then e-mail the opened file to me at: shadowfax7@optonline.net

I would be in your debt . . . thanx in advance.

You don't need core rules to unzip this, just use winzip. But it looks like you will need core rules to use it.

Shadowfax, having the CR file won't help you, even if it is unzipped. The file contains Core Rules program information, that is; it sets up a new class for the software.

What info were you hoping to get, there? If you need info on the priesthood, look at FR10, "Dwarves Deep" supplement.

Realmaster . . . you definitely need the CR CD to unzip the file, as I have tried with winzip and it doesn't work.

Imayb1 . . . I don't have FR 10 either, what I need is the write up on the godess, Deep Duerra.

I figure that someone with the CR CD can download the file, unzip it and copy/paste it to a WORD DOCUMENT which they can then e-mail me.

Simple enough . . . now who will help me ?

Thanx in advance.

I used winzip to unzip this file last night and you DO need core rules to use this. When you decompress this file it is a program file like imayb1 said. You have to import this into core rules. ;)

Realmaster . . . thanx for the reply.

So, does this prevent copy and paste to a WORD document and e-mailing me the info ??
