| #1jursissDec 06, 2004 13:21:52 | Hi I am looking for stats on the spell Gateway, I believe it was in the second edition campeign guide hardback, its a spell a wizard of mine has, but I can for the life of me find the book with the stats for it, I remember generaly what it does, but of someone could find the stats for me it would help out a lot, thanks ![]() |
| #2zombiegleemaxDec 06, 2004 13:59:48 | I'm guessing here, but would it perchance be the Special/Rare spell Gate from the 2e Complete Book of Necromancers? If so, it is as follows: [Edit to remove wrong spell description.] Sorry, jursiss |

| #5jursissDec 06, 2004 17:07:36 | would you be able to post the stats for it ? if possible, it would make my life a bit easier, not sure if I can aquire the wizards books you mentioned. It would help a lot ![]() |
| #6samualt_barronswordDec 08, 2004 14:28:04 | I don't think we are supposed to post copywrited material like that, although sumarizing it for discusion purposes I believe is allowed. As you recall, it does open a two way portal from where one is to where one wants to go (must be on same plane, where the caster has been before). Anyone or anything can pass to or fro as long as the gate remains open (1rd + 1 round per level). Some other restrictions regarding distance (the farther you are trying to go the less chance you have of getting there), but anything within 100 miles can be reached 100% of the time. |
