Has anyone heard of a monster specifically created to kill Gods?...My party has encountered one..so far we know it takes a roll to hit an AC of (-15) to hit it and its Thac0 is lower than -5....we've already dealt about 450 or so damage to it.....just wondering if anyone has heard of or used a similar creature..btw it has 4 arms two legs a long tail has a lightening attack with one hand, a fire attack with another, and an ice attack with another..and we're all 20th level players....and when we made a God call....the God went running...pray for us...

I certainly don't know all the monsters ever printed for AD&D by heart but that sounds like something "DM created" to me. And what are you doing fighting it if your god went running? :D

Tyrannosaurus head and a Magic stone that can turn into any weapon desired (mostly turned into a weapon 2x as powerful then that of the god's most powerful weapon)?

That is a "MuYuan"....... a "Godslayer"

Blackballs - basically living mini "black holes" (Shperes of annihilation) with attitude" that like to hunt wayward "godlings" that stray into the 6th dimensional Vortex (The barrier created by the "Overgods" to keep the "godlings" limited to the first 6 dimensions of existence)

Nippers- parasites in the Astral plane that look kind of like centipedes that will bore in the skin and reproduce rapidly. Very destructive to mortal beings but even god essence are hurt by the damage it causes to an Avatar and thus gods usually try to exterminate them wihout much success.

Draeden - (1000 feet per hit die, brain like central node with tubes that end in maws) Older than the gods they usually leave the gods alone, but have attacked "projects" over the eons for no apparent reason and the gods usually just flee rather then risk being eaten.

Repeater (Ditto Monster....75 feet long, and 15 feet wide) - Looks like a Kimono Dragon with 8 legs and 6 wings. Likes to eat gods, and it's Howl, if fail save against magical spell, or repeat the last rounds action which makes the victim's tactics/choices/actions predictable to the monster.

I stand corrected. Where does that information come from?

I think it is in 1e Legends and Lore under Summerian mythos. (It might be another pantheon though)

Sounds right, that would be why I don't remember it. I don't think I've ever seen a copy of the 1e Legends and Lore.

And I see the WarOverlord is a little faster than me.

And Legends and Lore is a great book! I just used it to show some people that the percentile chance for divine intervention is not an urban legend.

You are right, my mistake. My memory is not what it used to be.
