| #1dungeon_master_02Apr 08, 2005 14:51:27 | I'm looking for an adventure that can be run in 6-12 hours (definitely under 18 hours) set in greyhawk, fr, or not set in a specific campaign setting. Most importantly, the adventure has to be FUN! So tell me, what modules were the most fun to run and play in? |

These were designed to for "dive-in-and-play" type games and usually have pre-gen characters C1 Hidden Shrine of Tomoachan any of the A-series 'Slavers' modules B7 Rahasia would all probably work. | #3dungeon_master_02Apr 08, 2005 15:14:19 | we can make characters quickly, so that's not a problem, but yes we are looking for a "dive-in" type of adventure. I was thinking of Scourge of the Slave Lords and someone mentioned White Plume Mountain. Are these modules fun to play? |

A4 is the final, and has a built in time limit. You can just say if the character's don't make it out by the end of the session, they die in the volcano. |

Most importantly, the adventure has to be FUN! It would help if you'd tell us what the players' levels and classes are so we have a better idea of what type of adventure would be appropriate. The only adventure series I've tried so far is the beholder trilogy (Eye of Pain/Eye of Doom/Eye to Eye). The party had four character at around 6th level when they started the series, and the group reached 8th to 9th level by the end. It's a very well done adventure, there aren't very many traps or puzzles but the beholders can be very challenging opponents if played well. Fighting beholders can get a little frustrating for the characters though, especially if they're used to a more straightforward fight. Prior to the behiolder trilogy I had prepared my own adventures, which worked fairly well but it is definately nicer having a pre-made adventure to use. |
