Help Remembering Something

Aug 05, 2006 1:15:46 Does any one remember an item called the Wizard Blade, an item the Wizard had to make his self which also reduced his level for the types of spells her inserted into the Sword. I believe it might have been in a early version of Dragon Magazine but I can not seem to find any information about it on the web.

Aug 31, 2006 5:20:42 This may not be what you are looking for, but way back there was a Dragon article on magical swords. There were several, 7 I think. I wound up with one, Adjatha the Drinker that powered itself by draining magic but one of the others may have been the one you seek. I know the article was reprinted in one of the "Best of" issues. I can't remember if it was in there for sure.

Sep 12, 2006 3:03:14 I recall something with a name along those lines that enabled a wizard to cast permanency without risking a loss of constitution, because it drew it from a (probably unwilling) proxy instead...
