If you're talking about the Eric Holmes edited version of D&D Basic, yes I own a copy. And, no, I'm not selling mine. I got mine for around $20 on an online auction site. They come up there from time to time.

No, I believe he wrote a book called Fantasy Role Playing Games. I've never seen the book myself, though.

And speaking of Holmes, does anyone know what happened to him?

I read Holmes' book years ago and don't recall being that impressed. I didn't keep it. I summose it might be "nostalgic" but it just seemed out-of-date to me. On the other hand, maybe it's just my poor memory....
