Conversion? Whay should you convert to an useless game when you already have all the rules for the Land of Fate ready to use with the great AD&D2ed?
Here is my suggestion: sto playing the stupid 3.xE and come back to AD&D2ed, the best ever! ;)

Indeed, that would be my first reaction, though -- Al Qadim, like most AD&D settings, plays well enough in AD&D.
However, if you can't make without 3e, you can get some conversions here:
