| #1zombiegleemaxMar 27, 2005 17:10:43 | These are Bloodline Feats that stack with the Celestial Bloodline, Elemental Bloodline, Fairy Bloodline (which I created for the Feytouched race) and Fiendish Bloodline Feats shown in the Forgotten Realms: Races of Faerun Expansion. Improved Celestial Bloodline Prerequisites: PC's chosen race must be Aasimar. PC must have base Fort, Ref, and Will saves equal to or greater than 3. PC must have the Celestial Bloodline Feat. Choose a celestial bloodline from the following four: Angelic, Archon, Eladrin, or Guardinal. The celestial bloodline must match the law/chaos part of the PC's alignment (aka Lawful Aasimars must choose Archon, Neutral Aasimars must choose Guardinal, and Chaotic Aasimar must choose Eladrin). The only exception to this rule is the Angelic choice which can be chosen by any alignment. Once the choice has been made, it is permanent and may not be changed. The PC's gains the following spell-like abilities (depending on his choice) that he can use once per day: Angelic: aid, cure light wounds, holy smite, prayer Archon: shield other, discern lies, calm emotions, shield of faith Eladrin: eagle's splendor, divine power, protection from evil, searing light Guardinal: create food or water, divination, owl's wisdom, sanctuary Improved Elemental Bloodline Prerequisites: PC's chosen race must be Genasi. PC must have base Fort, Ref, and Will saves equal to or greater than 3. PC must have the Elemental Bloodline Feat. Choose a elemental bloodline from the following four: Air, Earth, Fire, or Water. The elemental bloodline must match that of your Genasi race (aka Air Genasi must choose Air, Earth Genasi must choose Earth, Fire Genasi must choose Fire, and Water Genasi must choose Water). There are no exceptions to this rule (if the DM does decide to make an except, see Sidebar). A PC can only choose one of the following three and once chosen cannot change that choice later one. The PC's gains the following spell-like abilities that he can use once per day: Air: air walk, gaseous form, obscuring mist, wind wall Earth: magic stone, soften earth and stone, stone shape, stone spikes Fire: burning hands, fireball, produce flame, wall of fire Water: control water, fog cloud, obscuring mist, water breathing Improved Fairy Bloodline Prerequisites: PC's chosen race must be Feytouched. PC must have base Fort, Ref, and Will saves equal to or greater than 3. PC must have the Fairy Bloodline Feat. Choose a fairy bloodline from the following four: dryad, nymph, puck, or satyr. The fairy bloodlines the PC can select depend on the good/evil part of it's alignment. A good Feytouched can only choose Dryad, Nymph, or Satyr and may not select Puck. An evil Feytouched may only select Puck. There are no exceptions to this rule (if the DM does decide to make an except, see Sidebar). Once the choice has been made, it is permanent and may not be changed. The PC's gains the following spell-like abilities (depending on his choice) that he can use once per day: Dryad: control plants, entangle, tree shape, speak with plants Nymph: neutralize poison, lesser restoration, legend lore, speak with animals Puck: cause fear, crushing despair, rage, tasha's hideous laughter Satyr: confusion, displacement, ventriloquism, misdirection Improved Fiendish Bloodline Prerequisites: PC's chosen race must be Tiefling. PC must have base Fort, Ref, and Will saves equal to or greater than 3. PC must have the Fiendish Bloodline Feat. Choose a fiendish bloodline from the following four: Baatorian, Tanar'ric, Yugoloth, or Slaadi. The fiendish bloodline must match the law/chaos part of the PC's alignment (aka Lawful Tieflings must choose Baatorian, Neutral Tieflings must choose Yugoloth, and Chaotic Tieflings must choose Tanar'ric). The only exception to this rule is the Slaadi choice which can be chosen by any alignment. Once the choice has been made, it is permanent and may not be changed. The PC's gains the following spell-like abilities (depending on his choice) that he can use once per day: Baatorian: bull's strength, command, improved invisibility, suggestion Tanar'ric: cat's grace, doom, fear, protection from good, haste Yugoloth: bear's endurance, poison, ray of enfeeblement, vampiric touch Slaadi: bestow curse, entropic shield, shatter, freedom of movement Sidebar: If you are the DM then essentially the campaign is yours to command and thus you may choose to eliminate the strict alignment/bloodline selection rules for these Improved Bloodline Feats. However, this is not suggested as it could lead to unusual turns of events (such as an Air Genasi using Earth powered Improved Bloodline spell-like abilities [a bit hard to explain to the other PCs]). |
| #2plastic_sunMay 11, 2005 0:33:39 | I must put forth the question, how are Slaad Fiendish? I mean they are being of pure chaos, not beings of Evil, per se... A Demon is the kind of guy who is going to drag you out into the street and gut you with his claws. A slaad is going to drag you into the street after you asked a person near him about the weather, then he's going to beat you within an inch of your life, pick you back up and heal you, then throw you straight into the nearest brick wall. |
