In Baldurs Gate 2 I encountered the Druid spell 'Iron Skin'. I have not the exact function and description available here, but if I remember right it was roughly the same as stone skin instead that only Druids can use it and that it add layers per 3 levels of iron to druid and each succesfull hit on the druid remove on layer til nothing left.

I had searched everything but I did not find that spell in any 2nd ed. Book I have available. Does anyone know if such an spell exist somewhere in 2nd ed.?

There's a 4th level Ironskin spell in the Priest's Spell Compendium, volume 2 as well as an 8th level mage spell called Ironbody in the Wizard's Spell Compendium.

Doesn't really fit with druids, as most druid orders forbid the wearing of metal armor.

@Elendur: Yes, but Wizards are also not allowed to wear armor (at least they can somehow, but can not cast spells) and THEY have Stoneskin. But it seems that the spell exist, it is just intended for Priests... Baldurs Gate is rulewise a bit quer in some things...

@Varl: I do not have the Priest's Spell Compendium (sniff). But actually I was just interested in knowing if that spell is trully 2nd ed. or comes from some other source...or at least had some hope it is in some of my books, but I am too dumb to find it...

the 5th level priest spell Ironskin is also in the Dragon kings book for Darksun.
