Back six, seven (eight?) years ago, Dragon (or was it Dungeon?) included a multipart fiction series set in the Byzantine world. There were vampires (vampyrs or valkyrs or somesuch), a magic-using nun, and a Frankish knight. They were some good short stories and I've been wanting to find them again.  Does anyone have any idea what issues this short series was in, who was the author, or where I might find them??? Thanks so much (and if this is in the wrong place, tell me where it needs to go).

As for the story request, I'd post it again in the General forum. Lots of folks there can quote chapter and verse from Dragon Magazine from years back! (And that's not sarcasm, that's jealousy! ;))
