| #3zombiegleemaxMar 24, 2004 14:18:55 | I've run into the same problem in the past Megamanfan. And developed a fairly quick and simple method. First I researched various animal varieties, and created a base average per type(treated like a thief ability:Hear Noise,ect). Canine: 60% Feline: 50% Rodent : 70% Bear/Wolverine : 60% Herding(Deer/Elk/Moose/ect) : 60% Weasel(Badger/Ferret/Hyena/ect) : 65% Reptile : 30% Beyond this, I take the characters wisdom and modify his/her base with the MDA(Magical Defense Adjustment). Granting +10% per point of MDA(max 95%). EXAMPLE: Race: Kzinti(Feline type) Base: 50% Wisdom: 16 MDA+2(+20%) TOTAL: 70% I have my characters label it as follows: AS-Smell: __%(AS=Acute Sense) AS-Taste: AS-Hearing: AS-Sight: AS-Touch: I hope this helps.... |
