Figured I might as well try and convert the race to 3.5 myself, at least until Wizards do it themselves. Anyone got the old stats for the Rakastas and Lupins handy?

I've got monster stats, but not Race stats.

There was a dragon magazine article that went in great detail toward turning the Rakasta into a player character race, including many many variants and subraces.

Here are the monster stats:
Rakasta
Climate/Terrain: Temperate to tropical planes and deserts
Frequency: Rare
Organization: Pride
Activity Cycle: Any
Diet: Omnivore
Intelligence: Very (11-12)
Treasure: M
Alignment: Neutral
No. Appearing: 3d10
Armour Class: 6
Movement: 9
Hit Dice 2+1, 3+1 (Hatra)
THAC0: 19
No. of Attacks: 3
Damage/Attack: 1d2 (claw)/1d2 (claw)/1d4 (bite) or 1d4 (kasa)/1d4 (kasa)/1d4 (bite) (+1 damage for hatra)
Special Attacks: Rear claws for 1d3 damage each
Size M (5'-7' tall)
Moral: Elite (14)
XP Valure 65, 120 (hatra)

Excerpts from the description text:
"Since a rakasta's claws inflict only 1d2 points of damage, the creatures usually employ specail metal war claws called kasas; worn on the paw like a glove, a kasa inflicts 1d4 points of damage on a successful attack."

"A rakasta who hits with both claws or kasas in the same round can choose to rake with bot rear claws."

"Certain rakasta ride saber-toothed tigres into battle. These tiger riders are known as the hatra."

"Hatra are ablew to leap 20 feet from their mounts and still attack in the same round." "fight unhindered while mounted using both hands"

The hatra have a code of honor:
"No challenge to fight is ever refused.
Wounded are never left behind; carry them or kill them.
Better to die in battle than in one's sleep.
Give no mercy; never expect it.
Retreate is permissible only in order to regroup. A new attack must be launched against the other force within two sunrises.
Never surrender. Those who would exist as prisoners are not rakasta."

Lupin
CLimate/Terrain: Temperate plains, forests
Frequency: Rare
Organization: Tribal
Activity Cycle: Night
Diet: Carnivore
Intelligence: Average (8-10)
Treasure: C
Alignment: Any good
No. Appearing: 2d6
Armour Class: 10 (8 with armour)
Movement: 12
Hit Dice: 2
THAC0: 19
No. of Attacks: 1
Damage/Attack: By weapon
Size: M (5'-6' tall)
Morale: Steady (12)
XP Value: 65

"extremely rare pure white lupins usually possess gifts of extraordinary powers (spells, psionics, etc.)"

"Lupins have a nonprehensile tail"

"Lupins enjoy fighting in packs, surrounding and harassing their prey first."
