Jan 24, 2006 9:04:15 Hello. Any of you old-schoolers with good memories, I could use some help from you. Lately, I've been replacing items from my old collection that have been lost over the years. The problem is that I don't remember all of what I had; I just have the occasional picture permanently burned into my memory. So, if anyone can help me answer these questions, I'd appreciate it very much.

(Probably from back in the days of original D&D 3rd edition--i.e., the time of the five colored boxes, probably before the Rules Cyclopedia.) I remember some creature, not unlike a ghoul (but maybe not undead) that was Chaotic, but whose alignment detected as Lawful. I think it was printed in an adventure module rather than a rulebook, but I could be wrong. I'm looking for the name of the creature and/or the book in which it was printed.
(Probably from AD&D.) I seem to remember a list of prices for goods and services, one of the services being "companionship." (Amusing.) Anyone know where I might have seen this?

Sorry if this seems like some bizarre guessing game; I just wish I'd kept better records of my old collection. Also, anyone who owns volumes 1 and/or 2 of the old loose-leaf Monstrous Compendium who's willing to help me with questions about them, please e-mail me.

I checked p. 192. You're right that it describes harlots there, but it doesn't list how much "companionship" costs. (One of my PCs is inclined to go wenching, and I've no idea what to charge him.)
