Runes: A New Form of D&D Magic

Foreword:This system was originally designed for one my own D&D campaigns. Early on in the development cycle, I decided to submit it to Regdar's Repository in case someone else would like to use it. This micro-supplement has been s-blocked into oblivion for your convenience. If for any reason you will already be responding to this post, please also include your opinion of this s-block system for future submissions. Also, please forgive the awkward table for the Runemaster class, as the original table (done in wordpad) had difficulty transferring to this forum's format. Despite the name, this micro-supplement was not at all inspired by Runescape's magic system, though it was mildly inspired by TCGs as a whole. Please enjoy the read.
Concerning Runes

Runes are objects of great magical potency, appearing as an arcane shape seeming to be made of a pure element, except for a transparent barrier outlining the rune. Their creation can never be predicted, and tend to appear in areas of great magical potency or places where an element has great influence, a volcano for example, though they are likely to appear just about anywhere. They can also be formed in a variety of other ways, including the death of a large elemental. There are many types of runes, each of which offering completely different abilities to those able to wield them.

Very nice, but could be formatted without all those spoilers ;)
