| #1rolandstjudeJul 14, 2006 13:08:35 | I'm joining an AD&D 2E play-by-post game, and we're starting at 8th level. (I'm playing a very straight up long sword and long bow wielding fighter.) We've been instructed to equip ourselves appropriately. I'm not too concerned about mundane equipment, but how much magical gear does an 8th level fighter have? We're in Greyhawk, if that matters. I'd like to make sure I take my full due, but I don't want to be munckiny about it. It's been a while since I've played 2E and I don't seem to have any 8th level character sheets around for reference. I'm not so concerned about what to get; my concern is how much to get. Any help would be appreciated. |

Judging from pregenerated characters, I'd say two +2 weapons and two or three potions/scrolls, or any equivalent combination (around 2500 XP value). However, these things are strictly campaign-dependent, so you should ask your DM. |
