Mar 26, 2008 13:02:43		Recently I've been working rearranging skills, and I was wondering; Has anyone tried going half and half with that new-fangled 4e mess? I mean, many people like the idea of folding together different skills, which is a well known debate. What about that base competency though? How about a skill set-up that allows both actual ranks (rather than the 0/5/10 set) with a base competency.

So here's the idea;
Class ranks = 1/2 class level +4
Cross-class ranks = 1/4 class level +2 (one-half class ranks)
Everyone gets a base competency = 1/2 class levels
