After a recent campaign was finished, all the players asked if we could game again next week. I was not ready to start anything. So I came up with this idea.
There were 4 PCs, a fighter, wizard, cleric, and thief. they were roughly the same level. So I designed a rather large and complex maze and put all of them into it to fight to the "death". The cleric and wizard were only allowed to take 1 weapon and 1 piece of armor. The thief and fighter were allowed 1 melee weapon and 1 range weapon along with 1 piece of armor.
I put each one as far from the others as possible and let them go at it.

I must say it was one of the most fun gaming sessions we have ever had. The players were on the edge of their seats all night. But only I knew where everyone was. Needless to say it lasted about 5 hours. I awarded the winner 1 wish without fear of me twisting it on them if they kept it within reason.
I would highly recommed something like this to any DM who is looking for a little more spice between their PCs.

Any questions or improvements are wealcome.
