Spell Point Based Magic-System?

Jan 05, 2004 12:07:43 A friend of mine recently mentioned that he had played in a campaign before where his DM used a spell point magic system, instead of what was presented in 1st edition. He also said that it was not a "homemade" system. He claimed it came from an official DnD product, but couldn't remember from where.

Anyone know what book this is in?

Jan 05, 2004 14:05:29 Of course! That system comes from Player's Option: Spells & Magic, chapter 6, to be more precise.
