I have no problems with is rule for the most part, but I'm seeking some more balance with other classes, particularly Psionics. The spell point variant he's using is one where you have the spell points needed to cast all of your normal slots, so for every 3rd level spell per day you have you get 5 spell points, and for every 7th you get 13, and so on. Compared to the UA spell point system, this causes some rather drastic point differences. Sorcerer and Focused Specialist Wizard percentage increase compared to Unearthed Arcana system % Increase 0.00% -20.00% -37.50% 7.14% -5.26% 24.14% 18.92% 37.25% 30.16% 43.21% 36.08% 51.30% 48.09% 63.76% 62.42% 78.14% 77.89% 93.55% 93.99% 95.18% |
