Sep 26, 2005 19:42:22 I am back again with a new question.I hope the lawful good characters will answer my call once again.Thanks anyway.So here it is:Does anyone know if an official,always,extended turn undead table exists and in which book?I have looked everywhere but i can't find any answer.Greetings from a sunny beach in Greece!!

Sep 27, 2005 6:17:04 2nd edition turn undead table.With the word "extended" i meant from the 14th level and on for the caster.A 25th level cleric could turn more easily an 11hit die lich than a 14th level.The "High level campaigns" book hasnt anything so as all the books that refer to gods and magic.So,do you know if it exists?

Sep 27, 2005 10:23:28 Hey, ypexode. I am pretty sure that the turn undead table just stops at 14th level. I have played 2nd Edition for many years, and I have never seen anything to the contrary. Even my DM screens and priest screens stop at 14th level. I hope that this helps, and keep on playing 2nd Edition!!

Sep 28, 2005 2:07:03 What about in the Dungeon Master Option: High-Level Campaigns? I don't have it in front of me but I thought it had an extended chart in it?

Sep 28, 2005 6:05:27 Don't know about 2ed but in B/E/C/MD&D Clerics go up to 36th level, as does Turning (IIRC - it's been awhile )

It tops out at 14th level in 2e, that is why it is listed as 14+. Anyway the pattern is quite simple to follow if you wanted to. Just drop each number by three for every two levels until it reaches 4. Once a number reaches 4, the next time it changed would be to a 'T'. After being at 'T' for 4 levels (such as 14-18th), it would become a 'D'. After being a 'D' for 4 levels it would become a 'D*'.

Alternately you could adapt the basic D&D turning table which goes all the way to 36th level, although it uses 2d6 instead of a d20 and there are several extra +'s that aren't found in AD&D 1e/2e.
