| #1havardMay 29, 2006 7:50:39 | Has anyone read the latest VotPA in Dragon #344 yet? I am interested in hearing how other people felt it fitting with the old series. I enjoyed reading it alot myself. I posted a longer commentary over at the Mystara boards about it. Cheers! Håvard |

You get Dragon translated? ![]() Over here you can't get anything RPG related in Norwegian. Not such a big problem for most adult gamers, but it's really bad for the recruitment to the hobby. ![]() In any case, you have something to look forward to when you get your copy! ![]() Oh yes, for those who haven't noticed yet, Mystara Guru Bruce Heard has been commenting on his latest VotPA episode here: http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?p=9385499#post9385499 Håvard |
| #6agathoklesJun 15, 2006 2:03:18 | You get Dragon translated? Well, actually I think what they publish is a bimonthly selection of articles from both Dragon and Dungeon (so overall circa one quarter of the articles from both magazines). Anyway, I finally got the current issue of Dragon Magazine. As I said on the Mystara board, Bruce's article is quite good. However, I suppose this will be the only issue worth buying in a long while -- even though it was a special edition, the only readable stuff other than the VotPA article was the Gord tale (Wizards Three was a nice way to introduce a spells article, but doesn't work as a standalone). |

Good for you! ![]() As for future issues, we'll have to see. Mystara relevant material has appeared more often than I would have expected lately, though most of it little more than 3E conversions of existing material, so it will be of little use to you. Still, it would be nice if this trend continues. And with Bruce's willingness to write more Princess Ark episode should the opportunity arise, time will tell. I'm guessing January will be the best bet for the next Campaign Classics issue for more Mystara material. Lets hope that one will have something more useful to OOP fans. You might also want to consider picking up Dungeon magazine since the new Adventure Path (series of adventures) will revolve around the Isle of Dread and Demogorgon. Adaption notes for Mystara are being discussed here: http://paizo.com/dungeon/messageboards/savageTide/knownWorldMystaraAPConversions The future's pretty bright ![]() Håvard |

| #9havardJun 19, 2006 7:38:17 | More likely, I'll pick up the series if Paizo releases it in a single volume. If Cauldron, the Compendium, and a possible collected AoW do well, I suspect Savage Tide will also be published in a hardcover book. I can't wait that long though ;) Håvard |

I havent been in there recently myself, but this is the thread you want to look into: http://paizo.com/paizo/messageboards/dungeon/savageTide/knownWorldMystaraAPConversions&page=1#83455 Most of the work seems to already have been done so far. Ofcourse, when the AP starts there will probably be more to talk about ;) Håvard |
