What? Isn't the wild mage from the Tome of Magic?

That's 2nd edition, though. Are you talking about 1st edition?

What do you mean by "sorcerer?" The 3rd edition version? I don't remember seeing anything like that in previous editions, but then I probably wouldn't have noticed it if I had. Maybe there was a version in the 2E Player's Option: Spells & Magic book.

The only 2e sorcerer that I can think of is the kit from Al-Qadim. Since that has an elemental based magic system, you had sorcerers that cast from 2 elemental provinces and the universal province (as opposed to elemental mages that just had 1 element and universal). They are the mages of that campaign setting.

If the Dragon you're talking about is old enough (~'94 IIRC) then it might have something from al-qadim that has a sorcer in it.

I believe the sorcerer that became the model for the 3e version was also mentioned in the RPGA's Living City books.

is a fun spell. I did end up with reptilian footprints, though. I think my Wild Wizard/ Priest of Beshaba was probably my favorite character I ever played. Good luck with that.
