#1 cfr Jun 10, 2012 22:42:44	in the techsmith class it says at every level you put into it you get a +1 to existing level you can cast of spells.  I can cast 3rd level spells and my techsmith is 3rd level.  So i have a +3 to existing level of spells i can cast right?  So when i cast spells i can actually cast 6th level spells right?  is that what that means or does it mean something else?

Say you started off with 5 levels of wizard (enough to give you 3rd level spells) and then took 3 levels of techsmith.  That gives you +1 spellcasting level, not +1 level of spells, per level.  That means that, in my example, you would cast spells (and ONLY cast spells) as a wizard with 8 levels, not 5.  That would give you access to 4th-level spells, better caster-level checks, longer durations, et but wouldn't give your familiar extra benefits or get you closer to the bonus feat a wizard gets at level 10.
