10th lvl idea for my rogue? (munchkin)

Jul 04, 2009 20:18:53 High power campaign starting at lvl 10 with quite a few house rules, I'll explain where neccessary.
Heres what I have so far and I'm happy with it, just would like advice on last lvl to take.
Natural rolls: 14, 13, 17, 17, 18, 18 - yes, legit. DM said roll 4d6, reroll any '1' one time and take highest three dice: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MOXmrS6Wxr8 - I end up cussing so if you watch it be warned, DMs out of state so I taped it for proof and glad I did cuz I really only hoped for at least two good rolls for my dex/int.
Race: Gray Elf (+2dex, int: -2str, con)
Stats: (after adjustments + lvl 4/8 ability increases)
Str 12, Dex 22, Con 15, Int 20, Wis 17, Cha 13
2 flaws

1. Rogue - twf, craven, telling blow
2. Barbarian - lion totem:pounce, whirling frenzy
3. Swashbuckler - darkstalker, weapon finesse
4. Swashbuckler - arcane stunt: ex. retreat
5. Swashbuckler - insightful strike
6. Rogue - imp. weapon finesse, evasion
7. Fighter - imp. twf, weapon focus kukri - houserule: lose heavy armor/shield and tower shield proficiency for bonus feat - can only earn back those proficiencies through feats, not new classes
8. Rogue - penetrating strike
9. Rogue - daring outlaw, uncanny dodge, shield of blades
10. ???
thinking Barbarian 2 for imp. uncanny dodge or some other rogue type with SA progression at lvl 1 like nightsong enforcer - dont know if I meet prereqs though.

I know its munchkin and Im using nearly every ACF I can but my only role, aside from my skills which I havent fully hashed out yet, is dealing damage.
I have a Vanishing Cloak (MiC), Dimensional Boots (MiC), Collar of Umbral Metamorphosis - nice boost to hide, sneak, speed and HiPS, ring of darkhidden plus Darkstalker feat and I can hide from almost anything right now.

Advice for that last lvl?

Jul 04, 2009 21:13:14 Check out the Drow Fighter ACF from Drow of the Underdark, as that would do you a lot of good. Ask your DM if you can take it, as most DMs allow it.

It's even worth being a Lesser Drow (+0 LA).

Also, check out Craven (Feat from Champions of Ruin), Kenku as a Race, (Greater) Collar of Umbral Metamorphosis (Tome of Magic, Mechanus Eye (Planar Handbook) and some other Rogue stuff.

@CantripN - DM already ruled that ACF out unless I am drow, and the drizzt stigma aside, being a Drow really wont work well in our campaign setting unfortunately. Thats why to a lesser degree, he did agree to lose those proficiencies for a feat, its no +2 to initiative and dmg to flatfooted opponents but its a feat for armor and shields I wont use so I cant complain.
Also, I took Craven at 1st lvl, and I do have a Collar of Umbral Metamorphosis (lesser - couldnt afford the permanent one). Never heard of Kenku or Mechanus Eye, I'll try to find them. But Gray Elf I think will work great for me.

I appreciate any feedback, sincerely thank you, many better than me already tackled builds like this. I was more looking for a good Class or PrC for my 10th lvl to help build on what I have.

Jul 04, 2009 22:50:14 One option would be to drop a level of rogue and take two levels of Unarmed Swordsage (those two levels coming at at least 5th and at least 8th respectively). Swordsage gives you Weapon Focus for a set of discipline weapons; choose Tiger Claw to get Kukri, which frees up a feat for Carmendine Monk/Kung Fu Genius to get INT to AC in light armor or no armor.
You'll also get the Blood in the Water and Assassin's Stance stances and seven maneuvers, 6 second level, 1 third level.

No, you buy a scabbard of keen edges. Never spend a feat on what you can buy.
