Hi guys.....

Its been a while since i have played, but am getting back into it, though still on 3.5.
I am looking for a build.

Warrior type, damage dealer.
11th level.
Core plus complete series.
No more than 2 prestige classes.
Would also like ac, saves to be reasonable (but understand this is not always an option)

Standard treasure for 11th level.
No more than a third of wealth is allowed to be spent on any one item.
DM uses alot of constructs and non critable creatures.
Also setting is often very dark or below ground.

any ideas?

Thanks
Spaz... (use to be Mogligrimtooth)

I'd go 4 Fighter/1 Barbarian/ 6 Disciple of Thrym (it's out of Frostburn).
Power Attack is your best friend vs constructs and things immune to crits. As a race I'd go with an Artic Orc (Unearthed Arcana), they get a high strength, low light vision, and they get the Cold Endurance needed for the DoT PrC, so you don't need to waste a feat on it.
I'd go:

1 Power Attack, Cleave
2 Weapon Focus (Greataxe)
3 Improved Initiative
4 Weapon Specialization
5
6 Leap Attack
7
8
9 Improved Crit
10
11

DoT gets to add twice his strength instead of 1.5 times beginning at third level, plus they get some cool spells, high BAB, d10, and good Will saves. Also for the Barbarian take Whirling Frenzy instead of normal Rage and Pounce instead of fast movement. This way you can attack three times on your charge, and if it's combined the Leap Attack you'll be doing triple damage with power attack instead of double ;) You're wearing medium armor at most because of your Leap Attack and Barbarian abilites and you have a two handed weapon so you'll need to do some things to boost your AC (high dex is nice, rings, amulets, etc) but you'll have some pretty good HP and do killer damage.

Quadruple damage! In what must be the most intelligent errata EVER (maybe tied with Arcane Thesis), they said that Leap Attack increases the Power Attack by 100%

Does it work on Supreme Power Attack for x8 damage?

Cool nice Idea, very cool indeed,
I dont think we are allowed unearthed or frost though...

Though i think ill turn this into an NPC for my next campaign for sure... lol love it...

What about a dual wielder....

fighter5/dervish1/tempest5?

Does whirlwind attack and the dervish dance stack?
It says you can take a full attack action?

maybe throw a level of thief in there to get extra skills at 1st and some sneak attack.

Whats the best two handed build you guys know?

the UA variants are in the SRD for free (http://www.d20srd.org/indexes/variantRaces.htm) if its about limited books.

if its allowed, i think the sneak attack fighter variant is sweet. check this link for duelist types of lvl 10 or so: http://forums.gleemax.com/showthread.php?t=1134977

I like Rogue 12 / Fighter 8 for a TWF base, but if you're allowed all the completes you can do much better for damage output.

Barbarian 2 (Lion Totem variant - Complete Champion)
Fighter 8
any other full BAB class after this.

Make sure to get Shocktrooper and Leap Attack. Laugh at your enemies when you charge after winning initiative to do 76 damager per hit with 4 attacks per round. Combines well with Frenzied Berserker to make that 152 damage per hit (if anything combines well with FB, that is).

Its boring, but effective.

On the other hand... A straight Hexblade / Ur-Priest is pretty cool and plenty powerful.

A Rogue/Swashbuckler with Daring Outlaw is not half bad.

That was a clarification of dubious wording in one sentence. It still goes on to say when using Leap Attack with a two handed weapon, you deal triple the damage instead of double....otherwise Leap Attack as a feat would be pretty useless lol.

You could always get rid of the Artic Orc and make a regular and instead of DoT make an occult Slayer out of Complete Warrior. Some nice abilities vs spellcasters (the bane of tanks everywhere lol) and Full BAB to boot.

So does this mean that Leap Attack + Supreme Power attack makes it a 5:1 ratio?

For a two handed weapon I would say yes. You wouldn't be able to do this until a minimum of 16th level (6 Barb/ 10 Frenzied Berserker) and you'd have the disadvantages that come with being in a frenzy. Still it'd be a good sage question, that is if Wizards still answered stuff about 3.5

That's the reasonable interpration, especially considering the rules for stacking multipliers.

Two-handed weapon is *2.
Two-handed weapon with Leap Attack is *3, in other words, Leap Attack is *(+1).
Two-handed weapon with Supreme Power Attack is *4, in other words, S.P.A. is *(+2).

2+1+2=5.

Anyone who tries to convince me that Leap Attack is *6 and supreme leap attack is *12 (or*24!) get the rolled-up newspaper.
