We are playing under the 3.0 rules, about level 15, and I' thinking about change my char with a shifter.

my idea is about a human , druid 5 (not that is important... some minor spellcasting and maybe a useless 5 HD animal companion... but levels stack with shifter's for wildshape)/10 shifter, vith a assume supernatural ability, a couple of greater ASA, some wildhape feat and maybe a monster one or three (multidexterity, flyby attack, etc.)

the rules are mostly 3.0, with 3.5 subject to the approval from the GM, case by case.

any advice?

thanks, and sorry for my english

Well ... the very old 3.0 co-board wasn't quite up to the speed of the 2006-ish epoch of C.O.
By then, almost all of the material was 3.5 related.
Most of the ideas cross over.

Try to find the Druid guide in the Surreal Index at the top of this board.
EDIT - community.wizards.com/go/thread/view/758...
That's as good a place to start as any.
Druids do just fine in 3.0 and 3.5 ... they are part of the CoDzilla team with Clerics.
Druid Wildshape gets an extensive list, most of which work in 3.0 inspite of the 3.5 foundation.

I can't help with Shifter PrC, but Wildshape works fine no matter what.
3.5 has the feat Natural Spell. It's "good enough" too.

Even if this is your first time building a CO-ish character, Natural Spell on a Druid = win.

Nix human for Changeling

Nix druid for UA wildshape variant ranger

Now you have my character.  I limit my shapechange to things that can pass as human with changeling's ability.  I didn't want animal companion or spells so I subbed them with useful abilities.

The idea is to look like the same guy all the time, but really be a vine horror(immunities) or dark stalker(blindsense) in disguise.

This is extemely fun to play.  I have yet to turn into a pyrohydra but give the appearance of a cryohydra or vise versa.  That's my "oh my god I'm gonna die" trick.

Make sure you fit the power level of your group.  This character is a swiss army knife.

I can't wait till I can do will'o'wisp and just be invisible all the time.

Shifter is way better for this than master of many forms.  They get the extraordinaries right away.

Of course you have to get the dm to waive the 3rd level spell requirement.  Shouldn't be a problem.
