I'm playing a 1st level human cleric who will multiclass to the prestige paladin (UA) once she gets the BAB. Pending DM approval, she'll be taking the Fate (CWar) and Summoning (CDiv) domains, with no particular deity.

Str: 13
Dex: 14
Con: 13
Int: 11
Wis: 18
Cha: 17

The only difference I can tell between the glaive and halberd is that glaives have reach whereas halberds have either piercing or slashing damage. Which is better in this case?

I'd probably go with a Halberd (eventually upgrade to a Halberd of Vaulting) or a Lance (eventually upgrade to +1 Valorous Lance. Use while riding your Special Mount.)

Combine these with the Paladin spells that improve your charge damage. (I forget what they are, but I know they exist.)

I'm also going to second the supremacy of the halberd -> halberd of vaulting (unapproachable east, I think?)
Or the +1 valorous lance. Charging is fun!
