My char is Whisper Gnome that's been allowed to take Deepwarden (it cost me a feat, and was worked into the campaign storyline). I'm Lv6 Ranger, Lv2 Deepwarden. I've high Con and Str, but low Dex. My plan was to end up as Lv18 Ranger, Lv2 DW, but I'm starting to think Lv18 Ranger doesn't give me heaps - +1BAB, +1 saves, 1 1st level spell. I want Hide in Plain Sight @ Lv17, though. I've taken TWF. I've been playing with the idea of taking a 1 level dip into another class. I thought Rogue would be nice, as I'd get Sneak Attack (and Rogue is the WGnomes favoured class). However, I'd lose 1 BAB and not get the 20th level 5th attack. Barbarian would be good, but taking it now would give me the 20% XP penalty. Can't take Barbarian, as I'm Lawful. Can anyone suggest a decent PRC for a Lv1 dip? |

It gives you Aura of Courage, d10 HD, full BAB, all martial weapon, shield and armor prof.s, and good Fort and Will saves, plus a little damage boost vs. Dragons equal to Dragonslayer level. This is all at the first level by the way, and it's 5/10 casting, boosting casting every odd numbered level. The requirements are +5 BAB, 2 ranks in Tumble, plus the Dodge and Iron Will feats. Following the class to level 10 gives you the feat Lightning Reflexes, resistance to all non-Force energies 10 (5 at lv. 5), and damage reduction 3/-. There is a reason many Gish builds have at least one level in this class. |

The number of attacks based solely on BAB caps out at four, whether it's 16/11/6/1 or 20/15/10/5. |

But still, it looks great. Getting Dodge would also open up Titan Fighting to me ![]() |
