Wis: 13
Cha: 12 ( 10 +2 catfolk)

BA: +11

Feats:
1st: Weapon Finesse ( Swa) , Combat expertise
2nd: -
3rd: Dodge
4th: Mobility ( Ftr )
5th: Weapon Focus Scimitar ( Ftr )
6th: TWF
7th: -
8th: Spring Attack ( Dervish )
9th: Imp. TWF
10th: -
11th: -
(12th: Weapon Spes ( fighter ), Improved Critical)

Catfolk
40 ft movement
Low light vision
+2 listen and Move silently
+1 Natural armor ( great for items only yielding + to existing natural armor )

Class Benefits Swashbuckler
Weapon finesse as a bonus feat
Grace +1 ( competence bonus on Ref saves )
Insightful Strike ( Int modifier to damage )

Class benefits Fighter
2 free fighter feats

Class benefits Dervish
Movement Mastery ( Basicly take 10 on Tumble and Perform dance in any situation)
Slashing Blades ( Treat Scimitar as light weapon )
Fast Movement 10ft ( competence bonus which is weird but works with Catfolk )
Spring attack as free feat
Improved reaction ( +2 unnamed bonus on Initiative )
Dervish Dance 3/day ( 1 round per 2 ranks in perform dance )
Armor Bonus: +2

Items Selected for build ( 88000 gp )

Celestial armor ( very light mithril Chain mail +3 )
Rubicond Armor Crystal ( +5 morale bonus on damage and fear saves )
Gloves of Dexterity +4
Headband of Int +4
Belt of Battle ( 3 charges, can use all to gain an extra full round actions , great )
Bracers of Lightning ( Melee attacks yields 1d6 extra lightning damage )
Scimitar +1 Warning ( +5 insight bonus on Initiative )

While doing Dervish dance My attacks are as follow:

Attack: 11 Base + 8 Dex + 1 Focus +1 magical + 3 Dervish Dance

Total: 22/22/17/17/12

Damage: +3 Str +5 Int +5 Rubicond +1 magical +3 Dervish Dance

Total: +17 main hand, +15 Off-hand

Add 1d6 extra lightning damage on all attacks:

Minimum damage in a round ( if all hit ): 91

And to top it all, using Belt of battle you can repeat the whole round if you want.

Summary:

Strenghts:

*Hight AC
*Insane initiative
*Full BaB
*Lots of attacks ( even more when retainin 7th level in Dervish )
*Good movement ( great when dancing )
*High damage output ( even with lower strenght )
*Repeat a round if needed ( or spend less charges and use a move action )
*Fly if needed ( when things looks bad )
*Good HP ( d10 all the way )

Weaknesses:

*Monster with DR pretty much ruins your day
*You need a lot of feats
*Very score dependant/Item dependant

Adding Improved Critical for 12th level increases damage output quite significantly.

Comments are more than welcome

Not enough Lion Totem Barbarian or ToB in this build.

Dodge Mobility Spring Attack is a trap.

You can buy a keen scabbard and not need to have Improved Critical.

Taking levels in Swordsage lets you get a feat that lets you add dex to damage. Look it up. Also look up the Tiger Claw school which has much for TWF.

If you keep Swashbuckler, swap your Str and Con. 13 Str lets you take Power Attack, and you'll be attacking from your Dex, rather than your Str. That just leaves you with Str to damage, which isn't worth a couple dozen HP for the ability to do 2 more damage per hit.

Also, you'll get a lot of mileage out of the Catfolk Pounce feat at mid levels. It'll let you bring your TWF into play from the start, and get better at mid levels.

Dodge > Mobility > Spring Attack is required by Dervish.

Catfolk get pounce, no need for Lion Totem Barb.

Other notes: What book is Rubicond Armor Crystal from?

Weapon Crystals from MIC would be a nice addition to the TWF. An additional d6 of swappable elemental damage would be an average 3.5 damage per attack that hits.

Prefer the ranger/scout/swift hunter/dervish build for the skirmish damage dice, but not bad.

The Greater Rubicond Frenzy crystal can be located in Magic item compendium ( page 26 )

As long as you are over 1/2 hit points you gain +5 morale bonus on weapon damage rolls and +5 morale bonus on fear.

Hmm. Thought that only activated if you were below 50% HP. I never like allowing that to happen, since I tend to make sure I never leave temp HP... and as soon as you heal you lose the bonuses.

You can buy a keen scabbard and not need to have Improved Critical.

Each Keen Scabbard costs 16k I believe, and each Keen weapon enhancement is a +1 weapon enhancement. If you take Improved Critical, the feat will work with any scimitar you own, which you may be carrying around quite a few if you want to overcome DR.

No dont carry multiples, get the transmuting weapon enchantment (+2 from MiC I believe). This lets you overcome any DR, not just the weapon special metal kind.

If its too rich for your blood, try to fit in 2 levels of Kensai.

Im curious, why dervish if you will be pouncing anyway? The main class feature is just basicly a weird pounce with limited uses per day, isnt it?

Unfortunately Shadow Blade only works with Shadow Hand favored weapons, and I believe Scimitar is not one.

For the OP: I would try to get as much int/str bonus as possible(Get a magic belt?), and also get some enchantments on your scmitars, if your fighting predominantly evil, get holy. If you get your crit range lower(keen scabbards as suggested, just get two of them), perhaps pick up holy surge and the like.

Do whatever you can to get bonus damage, because that is how TWF can deal more damage than a two handed power attacker, well the only way really.

[Pounce? Why do you need pounce in a Dervish build? Dervish Dance > Pounce.

Pounce is not the focus of this build. It was just gravy on the racial stat bumps with a negligable LA (buyoff). It works well to get in position first round before starting the dance as well (charge, pounce, rawr!).

Maybe pick up a level of barbarian and take whirling frenzy instead of rage? and keep the speed bonus as it helps?

I havent really gotten this build teste yet, but Ive made some changes, I added 2 more levels as a Fighter to get both the extra feat and the possibility to go Weapon Spes.

That extra little damage helps when DR monster and **** thats immune to crit comes around..

So Swashbuckler 3 / Fighter 3 / Dervish 5 ( Pick up last Fighter level when at 12 )
