Don't Swordsages need wisdom? Swap the cha and wis I'd say.

Can't. Character's already in campaign, unfortunately, and the DM won't let be do an stat alterations on that level.

Then I'd drop those Sword Sage levels for Warblade or more Duskblade.

Which would lose me out on Desrt Wind Dodge, and several of the maneuvers i want to take.
And if I don't have any Martial adept class, the PrC requirements become restrictive.
I'll probably buy/craft/get a party member to craft/find something to give me a Wis bonus at some point, which would take care of that problem.
It's primarily to exclusive maneuvers that pull me into Swordsage. I have serious use for ome of the exclusive Swordsage stuff, especially little tricks like Shadow Jaunt or Desert Wind Dodge.

Warblade qualifies for JPM too. Its probably the better of the two, with Crusader being the best option due to having access to Devoted Spirit off the bat.

The whole qualification concern is in response to the suggestion of just taking more Duskblade levels.

Well, you can get in with Warblade 1/Duskblade 6.

I know. The example from the book, in fact, is Warblade1/Wizard a bunch of levels/JPM a bunch more levels.
It's certain feats and maneuvers, along with the actual concept of the class's identity, that pulls me into Swordsage.

Random relevant thought: Is there any book for Duskblade spells outside of PHBII?

Last War, but by RAW they are able to research new spells the same way Sorcerers can (DMG and PHB, under Spellcraft and Creating New Spells).
