Hey guys.  Just wanting some check over for a sorcerer character I'm putting together.  It's a seventh level game, with custom races.  Sources are fairly wide open(read anything except for really ebberron), but without any of the usual racial shenanigans.

My ability scores are 16, 16, 13, 11, 10, 9.  I'm also a dwarf subrace that gets +2 int/+2 cha(DM rolled racial tables randomly for that little number).  The final scores I'm looking at are 9, 16, 13, 13, 10, 18 respectively.  The other catch is that we only have 15k at 7th level.  I was debating doing the usual sorc/incantrix... but it doesn't look like the game is going to go more than a level or two, so I was wondering if there's anything else around which would give me better bang for my buck now.

thanks for any help!

Mhh, so what you're looking for is mainly a prestige class that gives nice gains at the 1st level? Maybe you could try sandshaper or warweaver? The first one adds a load of spells to your spells known list, the second one lets you buff your partymembers in a very good way. Both loose a casterlevel though, which sux, especially for a sorcerer that's already 1 level behind on wizard in spellcasting.

-edit: Ah, forgot the title of your post; these options aren't too useful for a direct damage sorcerer. Maybe 1 level in a class that adds sneak attack, pick up craven as feat and go for spellward sniper?

Yeah, spellwarp sniper is the way I'm going to take it.  15d6 fireball right out of the gate is fun as well.  Sometimes the oldies are the besties... when properly supplemented with source material.
