#1 necrosnoop110 Mar 26, 2008 11:34:24	Note: Core + Expanded Psionics Handbook only Please help me select a choice for my 8th level power slot. I'm a 16th level Telepath. I'm not interested in overt straight damage powers (besides Crystal Shard). My character's focus is on Charm/Domination and Save or Die/Suck. Our group has a heavy hitting fighter and a evocation heavy wizard so I don't need to worry much about D6s or AoE. My job is to know what's going on and take down/control individual opponents. Oh, and I hate powers with XP Drain so if you suggest any please give me a really good rationale. #7 nntp Mar 26, 2008 12:21:45	You could always take a lower level power. Temporal Acceleration is a nice one. Or how about Share Pain, since you have a Psicrystal, to double the effectiveness of Vigor? Schism kicks ass for keeping yourself out of danger, just have your partition ready a low level teleport...which you don't have? I think that you should really have picked up dimension door at some point...but you can always TK thrust yourself out of harms way.

Personally, I like Iron Body, since it gives you a whole slew of immunities, including against those nasty stat-drain ones. You just might already encounter a Thorciasid as a boss monster at your level. But, Srsly, Bend Reality is SO worth it. In our game, a wilder used it to duplicate Precognition, Offensive + Prescience, Offensive + Animal Affinity while having Affinity Field active - the cost of 900XP was paltry compared to the 14K they gained in that game... ( early epic ) *edit* ...so I jumped from one choice to the next with no rhyme nor reason. Sorry 'bout that.
