So yeee 90,000,000,000 gold in my characters bank at the moment. He has little to no magic items. I was hoping for advice on a list of items that would make the character immune to everything except for DM-Fiat or god like powers. Please and thank you. (And a link to the immunities thread would be awsome too! :D )

Some more information would be useful, what is your character? That will greatly affect what items would be useful, also knowing what books you are allowed to use would be helpful

Isn't that enough to buy just about anything ever printed, thrice over? Seriously, it's an exercise in futility to try and pick all your items.

Werewolf Warshaper/Fighter

And please understand this campaign is more entertainment than hard core rules blah blah blah. I enjoy the campaign and isnt that what it really all boils down to. The player and DM's enjoyment?

We are level 13 at the moment. (Yes waay overkill for that level. But as I said, campaign more for entertainment than anything.)

Don't worry about whether or not I can gain access to the items. I was hoping to literally make a list of buyable/creatable items (custom items are very doable in this campaign.) that would literally force to DM to use DM-Fiat on me in order to actually do anything against my character. (Not trying to powergame, just think this will be funny.)

Also, if you want anything else to think about buying my character owns his very own city. Complete with werewolf population of about 400 at the moment.

I say you donate a few billions to charity. Seriously, you don't need all that money.
I also find it kind of strange that your character owns an amount of money so vast it probably shouldn't even exist, and even in the richest campaign settings, it would still be more than 50% of the amount of money in the entire universe.
Seriously, your character could basicly buy every kingdom in every plane, and still have more than half of the money it has now.
Another thing I do not understand is how your character can carry all of that money - it should weigh about 90,000 tons.
With these amounts of cash you don't need to buy regular items, you need to do something spectacular (and preferably annoying to the DM). For instance, you can have an exact replica of every palace of every king in the world built out of solid gold, and then have it hovering exactly above the kings' castles. You could lure every dragon in the world to work for you. You can buy every shop in existence and have everyone in the world who creates merchandise working for you, and then you'll make even more money until eventually you'll have all the money and possessions in the universe.

According to the ELH, 9E10 gold is approporiate wealth for a PC of level 166, about 25% on his way to level 167. I'd certainly say that's pretty high a level for most games.

As for what custom items to develop with all the money, I would (for one) start with stacking on enough one per day uses of different spells on an item (say a suit of armor or something else that's not easily sunderable or disarmable) that it replicates the casting of a level 20 wizard, a level 20 cleric, and a level 20 druid. From there, get stat bonuses and bonuses to all concievable rolls and scores that are completely ridiculous, get all buffs you'd like as continuous items, and get all grafts you can cope with the visual effects from.

Or you could just buy ten million candles of invocation or 37 million doses of dust of sneezing and choking. Because we all know how unbalanced those items are.

Build a mobile city.

Or if it suits your fancy better build a mobile farm that can transport itself to get the exactly right amounts of sunlight, water, etc.

That should eat a good portion.

Pick up a constant effect Time Buttress shield (MIC). Isn't 50 times the normal a correct pricing? You will probably want to make it a constantly dancing shield while you are at it.

Custom Item? How about an item that says "I'm immune to damage of all kinds and magic" yeah... expensive but you HAVE 9 FRICKIN BILLION GP!!! Go for it! Oh yeah, and an Item of timestop usable 100 times per day and perhaps a mobile fortress (such as the deathstar) while you're at it.

The item you describe is the Time Buttress shield. The player is "invulnerable to all attacks, spells, and powers (both harmful and helpful)" The only downside is that it is only usable once per day and the effect lasts 1 round.

My appologies, I thought that 50x normal price is the suggested price for a custom item with a reuseable effect. Admittedly it would require an idiot dm to allow such an item in a normal game but this game can't really be called normal.

Even if that can't work, you you could easily get 14,400 called shields of time buttress. If you combine this with an item/class/race that does not need to sleep (or spend the night in a MMM) you will be almost invincible. (drop one, call one, and use one each turn) Unfortunetly you would leave a trail of shields behind you, but it will give your party members something to do ;)

You might want to invest in a nice construct. A standard Shield Guardian with a million HD would cost you a mere billion gold. You could use him to hold all of your shields if you wish.

Psicrown of Extended Timeless Body (the psionic power that the Time Buttress shield is based on), Staff of Limited Wish, and an Incantatrix buddy.

Use the staff to emulate Schism, the psionic power. Since it is actually a Limited Wish spell, it is a spell effect, and it is personal, so the Incantatrix can make it Persistant. Use the extra standard mental action from Schism every other round to activate Timeless Body via the Psicrown. You can almost certainly afford to just buy enough psicrowns to last all day, every day. :D

You need to be able to use both the Psicrown and the Staff, but that shouldn't be a problem at all. Just by +20 items of Use Magic Device and Use Psionic Device. :P

Maybe I should mention that 90,000,000,000 gold in this campaign is the equivilant of being upper middle class. And considering a werewolf is one of the lower casts in the world..... ye....

Step one: Hire generals /w high leadership score.

Step two: Buy +5 seeking hammerguns for every single soldier.

Step three: Make all of 'em fire at DM.

Hopefully this should be enough to take down that wretched abomination...

Oh and no psionics please.

So are all prices in the DMG multiplied by roughly 14 thousand (random number pulled from head)?

Adventures are rich. They are usually the richest folk around. Yet according to this, your average adventurer is poorer than poor.

What a strange campaign...

To be honest, putting comments about your campaign aside, you don't really need help choosing items, with that much money you can literally get all of them

Uh... Can't really craft it. Unless you're immortal.
Crafting, for ye average crafter produces 1000GP worth of results per day.
90 000 000 days is 246 575 years and 4 months, approximately.

Right. Because they're so overpowered. I'd need a rolleyes emote the size of Texas to convey my feelings. This is quite possibly one of the most ridiculous threads I have ever seen, which is saying something. In fact, I suspect that the OP is nothing but a troll having fun at our expense.

I call and raise Uranium Sword.

Right. That's on the list, as is Can an elf wield a greatsword? and The Lightning Warrior.

I especially liked this line from The Lightning Warrior:
At first glance, the lightning warrior looks like a weaker version of the wizard, due to the fact that it lacks a familiar and can’t specialize in a school like most wizards can.

1. I am not a troller and yes this is a real campaign.
2. This campaign is more about enjoyment and RP than mechanics. (Thus explaining the gross over ammounts of gold.
3. I know I can buy anything, but I was hoping for either a link to the invulnerabilities list thread and or constructive ideas on how to spends the money. (So far the flying fortress is definately interesting.)

So, you're saying this is a roleplaying campaign?

While I am not one to say 'Stop having fun guys!', I seriously don't see how that can possibly be a roleplaying game of any sort. 90,000,000,000 for your average upper middle class, but still standard D&D pricing? As much as I loathe capitalism (At least in theory), that is just not how economy works. You simply can't have that, if that much gold existed, the value would drop drastically. It's called inflation, and if you want examples, take a look at Zimbabwe.

Now, I realize that you're there to play D&D, not offices & stockholders, but wouldn't any roleplaying game require at least a believable base? I'm not talking about realism here, because that is a rather touchy subject, and kinda moot when talking rpgs, but it should at least include common sense.

Therefore, I stand by my previous statement. Buy army, outfit them with hammerguns. Proceed to shoot DM. Enjoy.

Make a black hole with your GP.

1. Get an epic level Bag of Holding.

2. Put all your party's GP in it.

3. Get an Animated Object to hold the BoH.

4. Cast a tight Resilient Sphere on the Animated Object.

5. Have the Animated Object pierce the Bag of Holding.

6. ???

7. Profit.

I recommend the torsion bomb.

Grab portable hole, grab sheet, provide closed form mobius strip, shake well, planeshift away. There are only so many worlds your GM will map out before he gives up and realizes that you plan to take the great wheel apart, spoke by fraking spoke.
