| #1endaliaOct 24, 2008 4:44:33 | Does anyone have an idea of how to accomplish this? Bloodlines are ok. I do however want 10 JPM in the build if it's possible. I've got one build that gives you 16 BAB, 17 CL and 17 IL, but I can't really make it work level by level. Warblade 1/Wizard 1/Abjurant Champion 5/ JPM 10/Major Bloodline 3. The problem is that you can't reach any of the PrC's with this build if you level it, and as such it doesn't work. So please, some help. |

And if you want a martial class dip AND 10 JPM levels you've already lost 3 spellcasting levels... so you can't fit a bloodline in there. The only two solutions I can think of are: 1) abuse a Kobold with the Draconic Rite and the Lore susbstitution from Dragons of Eberron (you end with 3 free sorcerer levels) - but it's rather cheesy. 2) change JPM to a manifesting progression (shouldn't be too hard), and use Ardent as a base. With Practiced Manifester you should get 9th level powers. (But the build might end up worse than a wizard one without 9th level spells.) edit: and of course I forgot about Sublime Chord... that could work. ![]() edit2: actually SC gets 9th level spells with 9 levels of spellcasting... JPM will make this not so easy to get. |

| #6innabinderOct 24, 2008 8:47:09 | With Fractional BAB, Bard 1/Factotum 1/Crusader 5/SuelArch 4/SCh 1/JPM 8 is another option to reduce MAD. That, or find a way to squeeze Virtuoso in there with a level of Sorc. Sublime Chord seems mandatory. |
| #7Omen_of_PeaceOct 24, 2008 9:20:21 | But SC 1/JPM 8 does not get you 9th level spells (JPM loses two spellcasting levels). |
| #8hogarthOct 24, 2008 9:26:15 | But SC 1/JPM 8 does not get you 9th level spells (JPM loses two spellcasting levels). I told you I don't know much about Bo9S. :D |

| #10endaliaOct 24, 2008 11:55:11 | What I mostly wanted from 10 JPM is emerald imolation and since that counts as a ninth level spell, I've talked my DM into allowing me to research it as a ninth level spell. And I talked my DM into changing the levels where JPM loses caster levels into first and ninth level. That makes this build possible: Martial Adept 1/Wizard 3/Abjurant Champion 5/JPM 8/Major Bloodline 3. That gives me a CL 18, IL 16 and BAB 15. That fits my goals close enough. Thanks for the help guys |
| #11hogarthOct 24, 2008 12:00:47 | But the major bloodline won't help you cast 9th level spells -- it just increases your caster level, it doesn't give you additional levels of spellcasting. |
| #12Omen_of_PeaceOct 24, 2008 14:54:18 | Unless abused in weird ways, Bloodlines are pretty weak. I recommend the classical Wizard 5/Martial Artist 1/JPM 10/AC 4 (or JPM 9/AC 5). You get BAB +16 or +17 and 9th level spells but your IL is 15. |
