| #1archerpwrSep 02, 2008 15:00:28 | So, remember that old thread about Caelic being on vacation? Well, there's another game that I'm in that needs people. Optimizers welcome. |
| #2tshernSep 02, 2008 15:06:42 | Afraid that the users of the board you linked us to are not competent or interesting enough? |
| #3callixSep 02, 2008 15:49:16 | Afraid that the users of the board you linked us to are not competent or interesting enough? Interested, not interesting. There are two half-full games, and we've been advertising there for months. Still, six games was always an ambitious goal. |
| #4darksamuariSep 02, 2008 16:21:41 | So what exactly do you need? |
| #5nanshorkSep 02, 2008 19:55:34 | So what exactly do you need? +1 Oh, and I never made the transfer over to bg so I wouldn't know if they're interested or interesting, heh. |
| #6archerpwrSep 02, 2008 21:39:14 | +1 They have me. That should explain it. |
| #7nanshorkSep 02, 2008 23:38:03 | They have me. That should explain it. :P |
| #8hogarthSep 03, 2008 6:07:12 | They have me. That should explain it. It's that bad, huh? No wonder they need new blood. ;) |
| #9darksamuariSep 03, 2008 15:44:42 | Oh Snap! So I'm still wondering what you need exactly? |
| #10tshernSep 03, 2008 17:30:50 | Oh Snap! Players. |
| #11surrealSep 04, 2008 11:58:12 | Wish I could, but my time is stretched thin already. |
| #12womblehunterSep 04, 2008 12:19:02 | Dude, I followed your link but I had basically no idea what's going on there. It's a 40-page thread! If you're recruiting you gotta pitch it, man. I mean, I get that it's a game... and there appear to be several simultaneous campaigns set in the same homebrew world, which is cool... but apart from that I don't know. Tell us what the game's about, who's in it, what they're playing, what the requirements and houserules are, what's needed in the group... that kind of thing. |
| #13archerpwrSep 04, 2008 13:10:41 | Check the first page (for the world) and the last page (for the current events). |
| #14gnomesarepeopletooSep 04, 2008 14:33:44 | In a nutshell, there are multiple campaigns in one world, happening concurrently. As of now, they are separate, but that may change. World details are on the first page. Character creation is Lvl 3 Gestalt. The gestalt is not normal gestalt, but details are in the first few posts. Most of the campaigns are full, but there are a few who still need members. Nasr, The land of ice, and Mid-Ocean I believe. For details on the individual groups just hit up a post there and people will swarm to tell you whats happening. And the people there are awesome, even though Archerpwr is there. SixthDeclension ;) |
| #15capt_smashSep 04, 2008 16:59:49 | Jebus crap man, I am all interested, until I follow the link and get flooded with stuffs. I am thinking it is an interesting Idea, I am having to think about what with my job and all. |
| #16darksamuariSep 04, 2008 17:06:18 | I'm joining, I've been kind of bored lately and have been looking for a game to jump into. Some of you should join the Land of Ice with me, let's rock the snow. |
| #17nanshorkSep 04, 2008 19:24:50 | I'm thinking about it. |
| #18kilrooSep 04, 2008 19:30:47 | Unfortunately I have never really liked play-by-post. It's a shame the CO OpenRPG game never got rolling. Or if it did, it left me behind. |
| #19vangrueSep 04, 2008 21:09:52 | I've been jonesing for some tabletop/d20 action lately, but have never played a play-by-post game before. :/ Figures. I've even got tons of time because half the time I'm at work I just goof around on the internet anyway. >_> |
| #20tshernSep 05, 2008 5:13:04 | I've been jonesing for some tabletop/d20 action lately, but have never played a play-by-post game before. :/ Try one, they are great. |
| #21hogarthSep 05, 2008 9:36:59 | Try one, they are great. I would add a caveat: "They are great...provided they don't completely fall apart after a month or two." I've had some bad luck with play-by-post games. That doesn't mean that I stop joining them, though... |
| #22vangrueSep 05, 2008 11:00:06 | Try one, they are great. I might have to, though I'll have to figure out the best place to start. I'm not sure when this one's planning on starting, and tuesday through saturday next week is unfortunately when I'll be travelling back to school and thus away from a computer. I'm interested, especially since I haven't gotten to play a Gestalt character before, but given what's said about holding these games together, I wouldn't also want to be the one to hold it up from starting. I've got an account over at BG, so hopefully one will start in a couple weeks I can join in, or maybe I'll have to check other places if need-be. |
