Okay, so I was just looking at the Fiendbinder prestige class.
HOLY CRAP
you can bind unlimited fiends to your will, with no chance of anything bad happening to you unless you are REALLY stupid.

So, aside from Item familiars and nanobots, how can I hit that DC 49 truespeak check at level 17?

well at 17, you will have 21 ranks in truespeak.
lets say +6 for int modifier (if you are wizard) bringing it to 27
Skill focus? +3 bringing it to 30

This still requires you to roll a 19, pretty harsh.
What is a fiendbinder to do? (other than just bind 30 vrocks, and have them all dance at the same time to do 200d6 damage)

It takes standard actions to command them to do anything. So... 30 standard actions... I guess 15 with the 9th level ability.

I hear this PrC tossed out quite a bit as an "awesome idea" and it is, but primarily from a flavor perspective. Having to spend standard actions to control your fiend seems like a vastly inefficient way of doing battle.

And it's not "unlimited" - you do need to spend some money on each one.

On topic, though: Moment of Prescience. Gives you an insight bonus equal to your caster level on any skill check - including a Truespeak check. That should give you another... 15 or so, depending on the number of caster levels you've lost in other classes.

only problem with that is, that is an 8th level spell to tell them to do something.

And is there anything against using diplomacy on fiends? because I bet, with the right build, I could get them to be great friends of mine, this just makes a safe way for me to get them to me.

Also, I could use the 10th level ability to summon a vrock, tell him to dance with the other ones and tell them to dance with him.
thats not bad....would be better if I could summon all 4 vrocks, have 1 of them dance with the 2 bound ones, and have the other 3 all dance together.

There are ways to get multiple standard actions, arent there? (something like be a choker, but i dont know how to do that one.)
Also, does truespeak work in a timestop? because then you could potentially command 9 of them to dance.

The Greater Amulet of the Silver Tongue amulet gives +10 enhancement bonus(same book page 263), and you added one too many ranks. That means you need 10. The only item I can think are the shards(any where +1 to +10 and they are competence bonuses) (XPH) they are one time use and cost 1,000gp. Universal Aptitude utterence give a +5 untyped bonus to all skills for 5 rounds. That is all I remember finding when I checked myself.

Exemplar gives you the ability to take 10 and a +4 unnamed bonus.

I think it's been ruled that you can't take 10 on Truespeak. Check the Truenamer Handbook for ways to boost your Truespeak check though. Basically, it's the Item Familiar feat. That should make it so it's easy enough to auto-succeed.

I've been playing with Fiendbinder idea for a while. The commands they give you in the book are limited, and says other commands could be given (by DM discretion), so I think if you play it smart, you can make the class work very well.

Give one standing order to follow behind you at 30 feet and attack anything that attacks you.

Tell them that they can eat/steal the soul of anything they personally kill.

That should get around the "I only do exactly enough to satisfy your orders" mentality the commands seem to have. If you give them a bit of a pay off, the demons should be a little more helpful and go all out, vs doing the bare minimum.

Basically, take a lot of the tricks from the malconvoker Handbook and apply them in the same way. Roleplay convincing them to help you.
