A Rogue for a Deadly Dungeon Crawl

A friend of mine got it in his head that our friends should run a quick (maybe 2-3 session) dungeon crawl. He has found/prepared a particularly deadly dungeon for us.
My aim is to be a rogue for the group. All dungeoneering all the time is my aim. No combat benefits, leave that to tanks and cannons. I want the best combo of skills, feats, stats (32 point buy), and equipment.

Oh, I forgot to mention. Single class Rogue only. No Prestige classes, no dual/multi-classing (The DM's criteria).
Other than that, feats, race and such can be drawn from any 3.5 source.

My thoughts were to start with kobold, the racials are very dungeoneering bent.
I had wanted to use a few feats from Dungeonscape as well, such as: Trap Sensitivity, and Trap Engineer.

Other than that, suggestions would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

How exactly does that help with making a dungeoneering style rogue?

Does it have to be a Rogue?

A Cloistered Cleric could fill out that role with the Kobold domain and add a lot more versatility to the group.

Of course if it is a Faerûn campaign it would have to be a Kobold who fancy Kurtulmak (Lawful Evil), although you can get away with being Lawful Neutral.

The Kobold Rogue substitution levels will more or less guarantee that you never fail a trapfinding check, but make you lose some HP.

If you're going to be crawling around in dungeons scouting and disarming traps, I'd definitely pick a race with Darkvision. Dwarves make decent dungeon rogues. You can dump the "face" skills, focus on stealth and trapspringing, and have the hit points to mix it up in combat when needed. Whisper gnomes are pretty freakin' awesome, too. (Races of Stone)
