#1 sudojin Apr 13, 2009 12:16:25	I was wondering besides the full bab and spellcasting progression, what is the point of the abjuration spell bonuses. There is very very few good abjuration spells and most of them are just anti-magic, and not buffing. I couldn't even find one ac booster that would apply to abjurant armor. Are there any erratas or ways to change spells to abjuration that I am unaware of?
#2 obtusehobbit Apr 13, 2009 12:22:21	There are a couple ac booster's in the achool of abjuration the most commonly used is the good old fashioned Shield Spell. Other then a couple ac buffers your right there are not alot of buff spells in the abjuration school, but the Abjurant champion is still one of, if not the best gish Prc out there.

#4 keithio Apr 13, 2009 13:56:41	"Shield" from the PHB and "Luminous Armor, greater" from the Book of Exalted Deeds are the 2 spells used. At +5 AC from each, that's nothing to scoff at on top of the other AbjChamp features.
#5 dawnmor Apr 13, 2009 19:59:03	Not to mention, if you take Arcane Disciple: War, get Divine power persisted, you get a BAB equal to your level, combine that with the 5th lvl ability of the Abj Champion, your caster level is based off your BAB. Divine Power = BAB equal to your level. Martial Arcanist = Caster Level equal to your BAB. Now, dude, this is lethal for a Gish.

You get Divine Power, Righteous Might, Regenerate, Moment of Prescience, and Visage of the Deity, Greater...among a few others of course.

I just had a interesting thought Pixie Saint Swordsage/cleric/RKV/Abj Champ (Adapted for Divine), with Righteous might, Divine power, among other things, toss in Enlarge person. NOW! your a Gargantuan invisible pixie of doom weilding 2 weapons combined with swordsage, out of this world Wis and Dex :P. Grab that Gnomish armor that gives +1 AC (-- Dex) deal , so you can get as much Dex and wis Mod's to AC as you want. Then grab That one Legacy PrC from Weapons of Legacy for a few levels and depending on if you go into Epic levels, it could work . Make sure your swords get Defending on them both and then toss in 2 weapon fighting tree, shadowblade, and 2 weapon defense . Oh god, I think I just created a Monster lol, im tempted to draw it up and see what my brother thinks :D I forgot one thing, Hornblade from one of the Faerun books, I forget which but it effectively is a material you can get your weapons made out of just like Adamantine, except with this instead of you duel wielding like a small creature to get like d4 damage, you can wield your weapons like you were a medium creature without being a medium creature. I think it was like Players guide to faerun or Races of Faerun, I know it was one of those books or close to it. BTW if you wait till your Epic lvl at 24 you can Buy off a +2 levels of the pixies LA and if you ask nicely to your DM you may beable to allow you to have the Saint PrC for free without worrying about the LA of that template. EDIT: Gnome Twist Cloth is the armor you want. Maybe toss in some Dervish too. But this is if you are into epic lvls will you take Dervish.
